The Popular Democratic Party Senate delegation has formally requested the immediate dismissal of Suzanne Roig Fuertes as Secretary of the Department of the Family.[5] San Juan Daily Star reports La Fortaleza Chief of Staff Norma Burgos Andújar attributed the prior dismissal of ADSEF administrator Bianca Medina Díaz to allegations of insubordination, unresponsiveness, missed meetings and communication failures with Family Department leadership.[1] Caguas District Rep. José 'Conny' Varela Fernández has formally requested House Speaker Carlos 'Johnny' Méndez Núñez summon the former ADSEF administrator for a formal questioning session before the full House.[2] El Nuevo Día reported that PPD House minority spokesperson Héctor Ferrer Santiago alleged in April that Governor Jenniffer González had requested Medina Díaz's immediate resignation. The paper confirmed it had sought official confirmation from ADSEF and La Fortaleza at that time.[3][4]
