Caguas locks in community aqueduct as emergency water backup through 2028

Mayor Miranda Torres signed the agreement on Sept. 5, folding the Pedro Calixto rural aqueduct into the city's emergency plan after a June pipeline rupture left the municipality buying water.

Caguas Mayor William Miranda Torres signed a collaborative agreement on September 5 with the Acueducto Rural Pedro Calixto that formally folds the community aqueduct into the city's Municipal Emergency Plan and runs through 2028.[1]
