36-year-old man shot dead on home balcony in Barranquitas

36-year-old Víctor Manuel Rodríguez Rodríguez was shot and killed at approximately 1:15 AM Saturday on the balcony of his residence in Barranquitas, Barranca neighborhood, Las Villas sector. [1][2] Authorities received a 911 emergency call reporting suspicious activity at kilometer 0.7 of road PR-772 in Barranquitas. [3][6] Responding police officers found the victim's body with gunshot wounds on a sofa on the residence balcony. [4][7] The Homicide Division of the Aibonito Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) was assigned to lead the investigation into this killing.
