A bartender from Puerto Rico, Miguel Martinez Arocho, will represent the island in the final global stage of the Hennessy MyWay 2026 competition in Paris, France.

He earned the spot by winning the first edition of the Hennessy MyWay competition in Puerto Rico, held on July 15, 2026, at The Backroom Speakeasy in Caguas.

This is the first time Puerto Rico takes part in the Hennessy MyWay global competition, said Ana Velasco, brand manager for Ballester Hermanos.
