Waldemar Quiles, the secretary of Puerto Rico's Department of Natural and Environmental Resources, said on Sunday he opposes transferring management of the Parque de las Cavernas del Río Camuy to the Tourism Company.^[1] That is the extent of what Quiles stated, as reported by El Nuevo Día in a filing dated Oct. 18. He gave his position against the transfer; the account does not spell out his reasons.
