Police found a man shot dead under the Kennedy Avenue bridge in Santurce after a 911 call reported a person on the pavement at about 4:12 a.m. on Thursday, Oct 29.[1][2] The victim had multiple bullet wounds, and he was identified as Yabel Bonar Acevedo Dávila.[3][4] Police are investigating the case for links to a shootout in La Perla, in which one man died and two others were wounded, and where the attackers moved the dead man's body to the bridge.[5][6][7] The two wounded men reached a hospital and are in stable condition.[8][9] No bullet casings were found at the bridge scene.[10] A car found in Barrio Obrero carried blood stains that will be tested, and police are investigating its possible link to the killing.[11][12] San Juan's CIC, an on-duty prosecutor and the forensics institute are working the case.[13]
