The Federal Tribunal for the District of Puerto Rico granted a provisional injunction requested by the Autoridad de Energía Eléctrica ordering NFEnergía LLC to allow alternative natural gas suppliers access to its facilities. ^{[1][2][4][5][8]} The court order prohibits New Fortress from blocking alternative gas supplier access or conditioning access on disputed invoice payments. ^[3][9] The Fiscal Oversight Board stated that ongoing breach of the natural gas supply agreement by New Fortress Energy threatens certified fiscal plans and Puerto Rico's economic recovery. ^[6] The Puerto Rico Fiscal Oversight Board filed an urgent federal court motion on Friday seeking to intervene as plaintiff in the AEE lawsuit against New Fortress Energy, NFEnergía and Atlantic Energy Holdings. ^[7] New Fortress Energy is required within 24 hours to disclose natural gas quantities aboard the Amur River vessel and projected supply exhaustion timing. ^[10] The court ruled that interruption of natural gas supply would force diesel generator use, reducing efficiency and increasing grid failure risk constituting irreparable harm. ^[11] Judge Pedro A.
