ETH Cargo Services is expanding its Carolina operations with a $5.1 million investment, and the DDEC is backing the project with $437,215 in incentives. [1][2] The expansion projects nine additional jobs at a company that currently employs 18. [3][4] The capacity is aimed squarely at the island's export engine: a 10,248-square-foot facility already in operation and a 16,709-square-foot building under construction, with temperature-controlled zones of 15 to 25 degrees Celsius and refrigerated areas of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical-device products. [5][6][7] "For our clients, every shipment represents a responsibility that goes far beyond moving goods," said Sascha Herzig, president and CEO of the company founded in 2001. [8]
