ASORE hosts the 2026 Restaurant Show on October 30 and 31 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center.[1] The two-day program is the association's annual gastronomy convention and is aimed at Puerto Rico's food industry professionals.[2][3] This year's show promotes the use of local products in restaurants, under ASORE president Sonia Navarro.[4][5] The Demo Kitchen "Sabores de Nuestra Tierra" returns as a centerpiece, led by chefs Ventura Vivoni and David Talavera and coordinated with the Department of Agriculture.[6][7][8] Bartender competitions using Puerto Rican products are on the program, alongside a student gastronomy cup focused on local products.[9][10] Before the show floor opens, October 29 is given over to the EAT study findings, research created by Gaither International, as part of a managerial-training program that runs October 29 and 30.[11][12][13]
