The municipality of Yauco has launched 'Patitas de Esperanza', described as the first mobile veterinary clinic in Puerto Rico's southwest region, to address stray animal overpopulation.[^1]

The program was reported on Oct 14 by Periódico La Perla. The clinic is framed by the municipality as a response to the number of stray animals in the area.

The report does not carry figures on how many animals the clinic can serve, its schedule, or its cost. Those are the numbers that would show whether a mobile clinic moves the overpopulation it was launched to address.
