Wine drinkers in the metro area get one evening to compare two of California's signature regions side by side: Bottles Guaynabo, at 5B Tabonuco St. in Guaynabo, [1] hosts a five-course dinner pairing Napa Valley and Sonoma wines on Thursday, November 19, 2026. [2][3] Service starts at 6:30 p.m., [4] with a menu built by chef Trent Eichler around the pairings. [5] The dinner is a collaboration with Plaza Cellars, [6] and wine specialist Jorge Wolf will present wines from four California wineries: Beaulieu Vineyard, Ramey, Jordan and O'Shaughnessy Estate Winery. [7][8] The centerpiece is a comparative Cabernet Sauvignon tasting -- two different Cabs poured against the same course -- so guests can taste how the two regions diverge in the glass. [9] The comparison has material to work with: Napa Valley is known internationally for its Cabernet Sauvignon, [10] while Sonoma's varied microclimates support a broad range of grape varieties. [11] Seats are $150 per person plus IVU and tip, [12][13] prepaid and limited. [14][15] Reservations run through OpenTable. [16]
