The Supreme Court of Puerto Rico has authorized the Industrial Association of Puerto Rico to appear as an amicus curiae in the pending case over LUMA Energy's electrical grid contract.[1] The AIPR filed its brief the same day standing was granted. The case also includes the Public-Private Partnerships Authority, the Electric Power Authority and the Government of Puerto Rico as parties.[2] Resident Commissioner Pablo José Hernández Rivera separately requested additional information this week on the temporary power generation contract awarded to the Power Expectations, LLC consortium.[3]
