A veterinary fair in Dorado last Friday gave rabies vaccinations and deworming treatments to 122 dogs and cats, part of the Puerto Rico House of Representatives' Dejando Huellas program. [^1]

The Dorado event ran under that initiative, which House president Carlos "Johnny" Méndez said supports communities across the island. [^2] [^3]

Since March 2025, Dejando Huellas has brought its fairs to 10 municipalities. [^4] That count is the measure to follow as the program moves from town to town; the 122 animals treated in Dorado are one stop on that tally.
